More than 11 years ago, at a crucial moment in my life when my daughter Elena was on the way, I started thinking about the idea that gave rise to the first GPS collar for livestock.

My name is Javier Victoria Echeverria. It was April 2011 when, in a chance meeting with Julian (a work colleague), the spark that set off this adventure was lit.

Julian had horses roaming free in the hills, which meant he faced the challenge of finding them every time he wanted to check on them. Cowbells weren't enough and the job was turning into a nightmare.

Back then, I had already been running an online shop since 2008 selling alarms with SMS notifications to mobile phones, and thanks to that experience I knew there was a solution: GPS tracking.

So I threw myself into a series of tests and experiments with Julian's horses, starting with mobile-network systems and later moving to satellite communication to make sure it worked anywhere, even in areas with no coverage, of which there are quite a few in Navarre.

Coverage and battery life were challenges that kept me awake many nights. About four months after starting these tests, I began selling the first GPS collars, which were very well received in the livestock sector, back in late 2008.

Over this journey of more than 11 years, my brother-in-law Jose Ángel, a "premium gold" programmer, professionalised a web service that I had originally built and that was rudimentary and not very secure. Thanks to him, and coinciding with the birth of my son Pablo in December 2014, our web service took an exponential leap, offering a professional, intuitive environment with a very useful feature: virtual fences, or "watchdog".

From the very beginning, we have done the integration and manufacturing ourselves, with dedication and hard work. My father, Julio, has been my constant companion, taking care of making collars, batteries and electronic soldering, as well as contributing ideas for continuous improvement.

Every business needs financial advice, and Nieves has always been by my side in those complex tasks that are often challenging for entrepreneurs. Irene, for her part, has been a key player in managing invoices, taking off our hands a task that many of us find tedious.

For more than 6 years, Alberto has kept an increasingly complex system running, making sure that processes and thousands of data points flow correctly between servers and users. On top of that, day to day he is a consultant and professional firefighter, always adding value.

3D printing has become an indispensable ally in our evolution, giving us the flexibility and adaptability we need. It is also a sustainable and environmentally friendly option, since we use 100% natural and biodegradable materials. Jose Luis brings his premium experience in 3D design, making sure our solutions are both visually appealing and functional.

Today, building on our experience in GPS tracking, we have expanded our solutions to the Caravanning and Marine sectors, two areas I am deeply passionate about.

What sets us apart is that we started from the ground up, with a solid foundation and an ongoing process of learning and growth. This allows us to offer the most suitable solution in each case and to be able to track animals, motorhomes, boats or any other need that comes up, adapting perfectly to every situation.

“We get around in a Zodiac” and, although it's not the most comfortable way to travel, it lets us take on any challenge, change course quickly and move at the speed we need, able to turn the helm at any moment.
