I'm Javier, founder of Domodis.

I started this in 2011 after a conversation with a farmer friend who kept losing horses in the mountains. My daughter Elena had just been born and I was looking for an idea worth pursuing. I found it there.

We've been at this for over 14 years. We've sold collars to farmers all over Spain and every one had a different case: a flock of 12 sheep, an extensive herd of 200 cows, a herd of mares in the Pyrenees, goats in the Cádiz hills.

Does it really work without mobile coverage?

Yes. It doesn't use a SIM or the mobile network. It sends its position via satellite, so it works anywhere with open sky: mountains, hills, open pasture, valleys, border areas. Full coverage across Spain and Europe.

Do I need a special app? Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Yes, we give you access to the Domodis platform. It works on iPhone, Android and from a computer. Nothing complicated to learn: if you can use WhatsApp, you can use this.

What exactly does the first €597 payment include?

The collar configured and ready to use, the satellite service activation, the first 6 months of service, delivery to your address in Spain and direct support via WhatsApp.

What happens after the first 6 months?

The satellite service renews for €196/year (less than €16/month). If you don't renew, the collar stops sending positions but you don't lose it: you can reactivate it whenever you want.

How long does delivery take?

Manufacturing takes 15–20 days, as we build to order. It is then sent by express courier.

Is there a warranty? Can I return it?

2-year official manufacturer's warranty. And yes, you have 60 days to return it if you're not convinced (as long as it's unused and in its original packaging).

Can I track several animals with the same account?

Yes. You buy one collar per animal, but you manage them all from the same app and with the same phone number.

What if I lose an animal wearing the collar?

You open the app and see where it is. That's exactly what it's for.
