📍 What it does
You fit it on the boat's main door, on the portholes or on any access point on board. When it's opened, it sends the signal to your Domodis system and the alert goes off.
Why won't a regular detector do? Because on board, anything that isn't made for the sea dies: salt and humidity corrode electronics and contacts within a few months. This detector has IP68 protection — water- and dust-tight — and is designed to withstand the marine environment day after day.

🔧 Installation and compatibility

Honestly, won't the cheap detector do for my boat?
For the dry interior of a motorhome, yes. For a boat, we don't recommend it: salt eventually corrodes unprotected detectors. This one is IP68 precisely for that reason — that's why it costs more and that's why it lasts.
How many can I install?
As many as you need: one for each access point you want to monitor.
Is there a subscription fee?
No. The fee goes with your control panel or your GPS tracker; accessories don't add any annual cost.
