This kill switch cuts the motor's starting current. Without pressing the remote, the current doesn't reach the starter solenoid and the motor can't start. Anyone who tries will find a dead motor, with no idea why.

Using it couldn't be simpler: you get to the boat, press the remote, the system is deactivated and you head out as normal. When you leave, you press the remote and the motor stays locked until you come back.
