The problem with locating a flock of sheep
A flock doesn't get lost all at once: it scatters. A scare, a feral dog, a wolf attack, and what was one group becomes three. Finding them on foot or driving along dirt tracks can take you all day — and up on the hills where they graze, your phone usually says "no service".
Mobile-network trackers work in the village and fail on the hillside. Virtual fencing systems need coverage or their own infrastructure. This collar sends the position straight via satellite: wherever there's open sky, you can see your sheep.
How sheep farmers use it
- Collars on the lead animals: with 2-4 collars on the animals that lead the flock, you have the whole group under control. It's the most cost-effective way to start.

How many collars do I need for my flock of sheep?
The usual rule is one collar for each group that moves together: typically 2-4 collars on the lead ewes. If the flock splits into stable subgroups, one collar per subgroup. Message us on WhatsApp with the size of your flock and we'll give you an exact figure.
Does it help against wolves?
The collar doesn't scare wolves away, but it changes what you can do: you spot unusual scattering of the flock on the map, you get there sooner, you find the groups that got separated and you document what happened with the route history.
Isn't it too heavy for a sheep?
The collar is sized for adult sheep, with an adapted strap. The lead ewes wear it without any trouble in the flock's day-to-day life.
