📍 Why monitor the exhaust elbow
When the raw-water cooling fails — a worn impeller, a blocked seacock, a kinked hose — the first place where the temperature shoots up is the exhaust elbow. Long before the alarm on the panel notices.
This system monitors that temperature continuously. You program the range you consider safe and, if it's exceeded, it triggers whatever signal you want: a siren, a light, a buzzer… You find out right away, with time to stop the engine and avoid the expensive breakdown.

- ✔ You want to detect a cooling failure as soon as it starts, not when it already smells of burning
- ✔ Your engine is a few years old and the impeller or the seacock have already given you a scare

- The sensor is installed on the engine's exhaust elbow and measures the temperature continuously.
- You program the alert threshold you want (we help you choose it for your engine).
- If it's exceeded, the siren, light or signal you've connected is triggered.

As an add-on, this system can be connected to a Domodis mobile-network GPS tracker (the battery-powered model or the 12V-powered one). That way, as well as the signal on board — or instead of it — you get the alarm notification on your phone, wherever you are.
❓ Frequently asked questions
Does it work on its own or do I need something else?
It works standalone: sensor + alert on board (siren, light or whatever you choose). It doesn't need any other equipment for that.
Can I get the alert on my phone?
Yes, as an add-on: by connecting it to a Domodis mobile-network GPS tracker (battery-powered or 12V). Then the alarm also reaches you as a notification on your phone.
Can I choose the temperature at which it goes off?
Yes. The range is programmable and we set it according to your engine and your safety margin.
Is it suitable for inboard and outboard engines?
Yes, it adapts to both. Tell us about your engine on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the ideal mounting point on the exhaust.
