Do I need to get a SIM card or sign up with an operator?

No. It arrives with the SIM included and working. You don't have to deal with anything.

How long does the battery last?

It depends on the position reporting frequency configured. We set it up for your use to maximise battery life, and you recharge it yourself with the cable included.

Does it work offshore?

This model uses the mobile phone network, so it works wherever there's 4G coverage (harbours, coast, estuaries). If you sail far offshore or your mooring doesn't have stable coverage, you need the satellite model.

Can I move it to another boat?

Yes. As there's no installation, you can move it between boat, motorboat, jet ski or even the trailer.

What happens if I don't renew the service?

The tracker stops transmitting, but you don't lose it: you can reactivate it whenever you like.

Is there a warranty?

2-year official warranty + 60-day returns if you're not happy with it.
